本名：Usher Raymond IV
在他13歲時，與母親兼經紀人Jonnetta Patton搬到亞特蘭大，參加當地的才藝競賽，幸運的被LaFace唱片公司的經紀人發掘，接著便與唱片公司老闆Antonio 'L.A.' Reid面試，並簽訂他的第一張唱片合約。
‧1994年，由吹牛老爹Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs來為他製作首張同名專輯《Usher》。
‧1997年，亞瑟小子與名製作Jermaine Dupri以及歌壇老將Teddy Riley和娃娃臉Babyface合作，製作了《走自己的路My Way》專輯，創下七白金的傲人佳績。
‧2001年8月熬製出了第三張專輯《8701》，並且贏得他的第一座葛萊美大獎。
‧2002年 再次獲得葛萊美獎《最佳R&B男歌手》 - 專輯名稱 年份 歌曲列表
